Hi, im an A level student studying product design please could you tick the appropriate answer or write your answer in the spaces provided so i can design a piece of furniture for a piece of coursework i have to do

1.What area of furniture should the design focus on?
Chair Coffee table Cupboard/cabinet End table

2.Who would be the potential target market for the final design in terms of age and style?

3.Would the product be purely designed for aesthetics as an object of interest (abstract art) or also have a function?

4.Does the product have to have any specific user requirements e.g. strength, weather resistance etc?

5.What aesthetic characteristics should the product have in terms of shape and form or should it be based on a designers work?

6.What kind of theme should the product have:
Cultural, Rock band, Record sleeve design - etc

7.What type of finish should the project have?

8.Should the product have to conform to a specific size?

9.Are there any safety requirements that the product should meet?
